Reverend Billy Graham died this week. He’ll be remembered as the greatest evangelist of the century. He pointed countless people to Jesus. Even with the enormous impact he made on this earth, his life was limited, a vapor compared to eternity with Christ.
It’s a reminder to me of my life and the way I live.
What do I want others to say about me at my funeral?
I hope they’ll be able to say that I followed Jesus fully and led well.
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. -James 4:14

“What happens when anyone can make it appear as if anything has happened, regardless of whether or not it did?” technologist Aviv Ovadya warns.
You’ve heard of fake news. “But it’s what he sees coming next that will really scare the $#!^ out of you.”
“That future, according to Ovadya, will arrive with a slew of slick, easy-to-use, and eventually seamless technological tools for manipulating perception and falsifying reality, for which terms have already been coined — “reality apathy,” “automated laser phishing,” and “human puppets.”

Be warned: the content is disturbing at times and there are some violence and sex parts you’ll want to skip.

On a much lighter note – this brand new podcast from Seth Godin sounds like it will be really good. I’ve already got it cued up in my podcast app.
“Akimbo’s a podcast about our culture and about how we can change it. About seeing what’s happening and choosing to do something.”
Seth is a fantastic thinker. If you don’t follow his blog – you should.

This week I was asked to mentor someone.
Flattering. But also: “oh snap – what does he mean by that?!”
Good thing I recently came across this article.
