Evidence: Elevation Collective

Elevation Worship Collective | 8 song album

Our Central Staff team at Epic Church had the opportunity to be part of Inside Elevation conference this week at Elevation Church in North Carolina. God is moving in a powerful way through their church and specifically with their music. I encourage you to listen to this album in your car or in your home and let faith rise up in you.

“Evidence” is an 8 track album created from a powerful collaboration between Elevation Worship and top Gospel artists.

How do you choose who should live and who should die?

Playing God
Radiolab | 60 min podcast

When people are dying and you can only save some, how do you choose? Maybe you save the youngest. Or the sickest. Maybe you even just put all the names in a hat and pick at random. Would your answer change if a sick person was standing right in front of you?

In this episode, we follow New York Times reporter Sheri Fink as she searches for the answer. In a warzone, a hurricane, a church basement, and an earthquake, the question remains the same. What happens, what should happen, when humans are forced to play god?

Science vs Faith

Science and Faith Shouldn’t Be at Odds

World-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking died this week. His scientific work often led to his doubt of the reality of God (personal, creator of the universe).

Is science at odds with faith? Must you choose one or the other?

6 Things You Need to Recover From Every Day
Benjamin P. Hardy on Medium | 14 min read

There is SO MUCH in this article.

Being busy and being productive are far from the same thing. Most people are trying to do too much. The desire to “keep up” has them doing more, living less, and deceiving themselves into believing they’ve actually made progress.

You must properly “recover” from the following things on a daily basis:

  1. Work
  2. Technology
  3. People
  4. Food
  5. Fitness
  6. Being awake

Unless you adequately recover in these areas, your life is a mess.
